Gabriel Pascal, a renowned producer and actor, was born on June 4, 1894, in the picturesque city of Arad, situated in the historic region of Transilvania, which was then part of the vast and sprawling empire of Austria-Hungary, but is now proudly a part of Romania, specifically the Arad County.
Pascal's illustrious career spanned many decades and was marked by his impressive work in the film industry, where he made significant contributions as a producer and actor. Some of his most notable projects include the iconic productions of Caesar and Cleopatra, released in 1945, Major Barbara, which premiered in 1941, and the 1932 classic, The Living Dead.
In his personal life, Pascal was married to the lovely Valéria Hidvéghy, and together they shared many happy moments. Unfortunately, his life was cut short when he passed away on July 6, 1954, in the bustling metropolis of New York City, located in the state of New York, USA.
