Garry Moore's professional journey in filmmaking began in 2004 when he enrolled in Brighton Film School, where he directed his inaugural short film, "Dear John...". Prior to this, he had attended Cleveland College of Art and Design's Film School, further refining his craft. Moore's academic pursuits continued as he went on to earn a Master's degree in Film at The University of Sunderland.
Throughout his career, Moore has directed an impressive 40 short films, garnering numerous accolades at film festivals worldwide. His multi-award-winning short, "No Honour, No Choice", which sheds light on the pressing issue of forced marriage, earned him a best film award, as well as a best actress award for its star, Pooja Shah, who is best known for her role in the critically acclaimed film "Bend it like Beckham". This outstanding achievement led to an invitation for the film to be screened at a United Nations conference in Mumbai, India in 2011.
Since then, Moore has dedicated his time to writing and developing a plethora of scripts, which ultimately culminated in the creation of his first feature-length film, a thrilling drama titled "Melanie's Grave", produced through Melgrave Films. Represented by sales agent Adler and Associates Entertainment Inc., "Melanie's Grave" has already garnered a multitude of awards, including Best Film, Best British Feature, Best Producer, and Best Actress, with numerous additional nominations.
