Gaurav, a distinguished alumnus of the Russian Institute of Cinema (VGIK),the oldest and largest film school globally, boasts an impressive array of accomplishments in the world of cinema. His inaugural feature film, "A Passage To Ottawa", garnered immense recognition, including the prestigious Crystal Bear (Special Mention) at the renowned Berlin Film Festival, as well as the coveted Best Narrative Feature award at the esteemed Austin Film Festival.
In 2016, Gaurav penned and directed the sci-fi thriller "Prisoner X", which went on to win the Critics Choice Award at the prominent Fantasporto and was subsequently showcased at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival as part of the Perspective Canada program.
Gaurav's most recent cinematic endeavor, the sci-fi thriller "Multiverse", starring Academy Award-winning actress Marlee Matlin, made its theatrical debut in November 2021 and is currently available for streaming on Hulu and Amazon Prime.
