Born and raised in the sun-kissed region of Southern California, Genneya Walton embarked on her artistic journey as a dancer, which ultimately led to her pursuit of acting. One of her most significant and thrilling roles to date is that of a series regular on the highly anticipated Netflix show #BlackAF, created by Kenya Barris and Rashida Jones, which premiered in April 2020. Prior to this, she was also a series regular on the popular Netflix series, Project MC2.
