Geoff is a 5th generation San Franciscan with an impressive 25-year career in film, television, advertising, and New Media. This award-winning director, producer, and actor has acted in numerous films, often cast alongside A-list stars such as Will Smith, Nicole Kidman, Ashley Judd, and Mark Ruffalo. His talent has drawn comparisons to Tom Hanks, an actor known for his ability to portray characters who can capture audiences' hearts and wallets.
While acting is his passion, Geoff has also had an incredibly successful career as a documentary film producer and director. He focuses on creating films that make a difference in society and inspire personal growth. As the President and Founder of Emergency Clock Productions, Geoff has produced and/or directed numerous award-winning documentaries, short films, Super Bowl commercials, sports television shows, original web series, and content, as well as national and international social media campaigns.
One of his notable projects is the feature documentary film, The Push: Owning Your Reality Is Where the Journey Begins (2018),which he co-directed and co-wrote with Jeffrey Allard. This inspiring film tells the story of Grant Korgan, a world-class adventurer who burst-fractured his L1 vertebrae while filming a snowmobiling segment in the Sierra Nevada back country. Grant became the first spinal cord injured athlete to literally push himself nearly 100 miles to the most inhospitable place on the planet - the bottom of the glove, the geographic South Pole.
Geoff also produced and co-directed the award-winning documentary film, Pursuit of Equality (2005),which has been praised as a "must-see" film and "required viewing for all Americans." This film won multiple film festival audience awards and earned Geoff the "Local Hero Award" from GLAAD and recognition as an "Innovative Leader in the Creative Industry" from 7x7 Magazine.
In addition to his documentary work, Geoff has produced and co-directed several other films, including the award-winning feature documentary, Pursuit of Equality (2005),which focused on the marriage equality movement sparked by then-Mayor Gavin Newsom in 2004. Geoff is also the brother-in-law of current California Governor Gavin Newsom.
In 2013, Geoff was selected by SONY to compete as a director in the Napa Valley Film Festival's Sony 4K Film Challenge. Prior to founding his production companies, Geoff served as the Executive Producer for One World Network's (co-founded by Melanie Griffith) "new media" division, overseeing all film, video, and internet production, as well as creating fresh and original on and off-line video content for the company. Geoff also served as Director of Business Development & Director of Syndication.
As an accomplished actor, Geoff has co-starred in multiple feature films and television series, including Pursuit of Happyness opposite Will Smith, Hemmingway & Gellhorn opposite Nicole Kidman, and Bottle Shock opposite Chris Pine.
