Georg Holm, a multifaceted musician, has made a lasting impact as the bassist for the renowned Icelandic avant-garde rock band Sigur Rós. Alongside his creative collaborators, Jón Þór "Jónsi" Birgisson and Ágúst Ævar Gunnarsson, Holm co-founded Sigur Ros in the vibrant city of Reykjavik back in 1994. As of 2018, the band has proudly released seven studio albums, solidifying their status as one of Iceland's most iconic and culturally significant exports.
