Gregory D. Furman, an American actor, writer, and composer, was born on March 26th, 1989, in Newton, Massachusetts. He attended Yorktown High School in New York before being accepted into Marist College, where he spent a significant amount of time acting in theater productions and writing and performing with the sketch comedy group That's A Shame.
Greg earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Marketing and TV/Film Production from Marist College. His academic achievements and passion for acting led him to be cast in a principle role in the feature film The Last Keepers, directed by Maggie Greenwald, alongside notable actors Aidan Quinn, Virginia Madsen, and Olympia Dukakis.
After college, Greg relocated to Manhattan, where he joined forces with friend and cast member Sam Underwood, who is known for his roles in Dexter, Homeland, and The Following. Together, they worked with the Non-Profit theater company, Fundamental Theater Project, with Greg serving as the Associate Director of the board.
Greg's professional career continued to flourish as he landed a role in an Off-Broadway production of Twelve Angry Men, working under the guidance of Lee Brock of The Barrow Group. In 2013, he made the move to Los Angeles, where he expanded his creative horizons by scoring music for two short films and having a track featured on the CBS Network show Reckless.
Greg's talents as a writer and actor caught the attention of comedian Andy Dick, who hired him as a writer. He also gained recognition in the social media sphere for his acting and writing abilities. Greg's written work has been showcased on screen by comedian David Spade, and he has collaborated with notable clients, including Cedric The Entertainer, social media influencers Amanda Cerny, King Bach, Lele Pons, and Curtis Lepore.
