Greg's childhood was marked by constant travel, as his father was a U.S. army officer, necessitating frequent relocations to different bases. This meant that Greg and his two brothers, as well as his twin sister, attended a staggering 10 different schools during their formative years. Two of these schools were located in Germany, providing Greg with a unique cultural experience. Eventually, his family settled in Michigan, where Greg's father retired, and Greg went on to attend Western Michigan University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre. Additionally, Greg had the opportunity to study at the prestigious British American Dramatic Academy in Oxford. Greg's professional acting career began at the Barn Theater in Augusta, Michigan, an institution that has spawned numerous notable alumni, including Adrienne Barbeau, Tom Wopat, and Jennifer Garner, to name a few.
After honing his craft, Greg relocated to Chicago, where he trained at The Second City and The Improv Olympic. This experience ultimately led to his television debut in the role of Cody on The Chris Isaak Show in 2001. Since then, Greg has made the move to Los Angeles.
