Gurpal Singh's academic journey began at the prestigious Modern School, Barakhamba in New Delhi, where he completed his schooling. However, his academic performance was not up to the mark, leaving him uncertain about his college prospects. Fortunately, Kirori Mal College in Delhi University had a few seats reserved for its renowned Dramatics society, 'The Players', which offered Gurpal an opportunity to showcase his talents. After a successful audition, he managed to secure admission to the college.
Post his graduation, Gurpal pursued a Film Direction course at the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India. This marked the beginning of his journey in the film industry, where he worked as an assistant on various feature films, documentaries, shorts, and television programs. His stint on the popular candid camera show Chhupa Rustam brought him to the spotlight, and he soon established himself as an actor. Since then, he has worked on numerous television shows and secured bit roles in several films.
When he's not working, Gurpal can be found indulging in his love for travel and food. He is an avid globetrotter and foodie, who believes in living life to the fullest. Despite his busy schedule, he prioritizes his personal time and spends his free moments doing nothing, often in the serene surroundings of mountains and forests. For Gurpal, working is a necessity, and he only takes on projects that truly excite him. The rest of his time is spent unwinding and recharging his batteries for the next creative endeavor.
