Habieb Naseer is a multifaceted individual with a rich background in the film industry. By profession, he is a film writer, producer, and director. The Indian film industry has had a profound impact on his life, and he was determined to delve deeper into the nuances of filmmaking.
Naseer's journey began with a stint at D. Rama Naidu Studios, one of the largest production houses in the world, where he honed his skills under the guidance of esteemed directors. His proficiency in languages such as Hindi, Telugu, Urdu, and English allowed him to take on various roles in filmmaking and work with numerous directors.
Throughout his career, Naseer has had the privilege of collaborating with renowned filmmakers like Dr. Ramanaidu, Satish Kaushik, Boney Kapoor, Vasu Bhagnani, D. Suresh Babu, and Yogesh Ishwar. He has worked on several films, including 'Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain', 'Hamara Dil Aap Ke Paas Hai', 'Aaghaaz', 'Mujhe Kuchh Kehna Hai', and 'Badhai Ho Badhai'.
In 1998, Naseer became independent and founded his production company, Telecine Inc. Productions, in 1999. He began directing ad films, serials, documentaries, and feature films to put his personal stamp on the industry. To date, he has directed 03 feature films, 42 ad films, 3 serials, and 29 documentaries.
Some of his notable works include the feature films 'Bhoot Bhaijaan', 'Maamu Tension Nai Leneka', 'Deal', 'Ninu Choodaka Nenundalenu', and the documentary 'Kurnool Floods'. He has also worked on a TV serial called 'Sansani Kheiz' for ETV Urdu.
Apart from his work in the film industry, Naseer has been associated with print media as a freelance journalist. His articles have been published in various newspapers and magazines, including 'Siasat' Daily, 'Munsif' Daily, 'Rahnuma e Deccan' Daily, and 'Awami Eqtedaar' Weekly.
In 2008, Naseer ventured into electronic media and started a news channel called 'Urdu TV', which he managed until 2014. He then co-founded 'T TV Urdu' with the Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana state in 2015 and served as CEO and executive editor until 2021. Currently, he is working as CEO & Editor of 'MUNSIF TV', a leading Satellite Urdu News Channel in India.
