Ævar Örn Jóhannsson, the eldest of three brothers, was born in the charming town of Bolungarvík, a picturesque location nestled within the dramatic Wild West fjords of Iceland. At the tender age of 16, he left his hometown to embark on a journey to pursue his passion for languages at a renowned boarding school in Laugarvatn, Iceland. During his time at the school, he not only diligently honed his language skills, which comprised a diverse range of languages including French, Deutsch, Danish, Icelandic, and Esperanto, but also demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities by assuming the role of head of all sport activities for the school, thereby earning him a prominent position on the student council.
Jóhannsson, a highly accomplished individual, proudly held a diploma in languages, accompanied by a special commendation for his exceptional proficiency in the German language, Deutsch. Following his academic achievements, he embarked on an extraordinary journey to Costa Rica, a country nestled in the heart of Central America, with the primary goal of submerging himself in the rich and vibrant Spanish language. Additionally, he chose to dedicate his time and skills to volunteer work, focusing on the welfare and support of troubled teenagers, thereby making a positive impact on their lives.

However, his restless spirit and thirst for adventure soon led him to Norway, where he spent several years honing his skills as a ski instructor, immersing himself in the country's breathtaking landscapes and vibrant culture.
As his experiences in Norway drew to a close, Jóhannsson returned to academia, motivated by a newfound enthusiasm for the intricacies of mechanical engineering, and dedicated himself to delving deeper into the subject, driven by an insatiable curiosity and a passion for lifelong learning.
Beyond his illustrious academic and professional pursuits, Jóhannsson has also ventured into the realm of modeling, collaborating with esteemed Norwegian brands such as Åsnes and Think Hair Wear. This diverse creative outlet allowed him to showcase his versatility and charm.
