Hayley Lovitt's early life was marked by a love for adventure and the outdoors, growing up in small towns in Oklahoma and North Carolina where she spent her free time exploring caves and hiking up mountains. Despite her passion for acting from a young age, she was limited to the theater projects available in her hometowns. After graduating from The University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Hayley set her sights on pursuing a career in the entertainment industry.
To support herself, Hayley began working as a freelance production crew member, taking on a variety of roles including Production Assistant, Producer's Assistant, Director's Assistant, Crafty Assistant, Costume Assistant, Costumer, Costume Coordinator, Commercial Coordinator, Assistant Office Coordinator, and Health and Safety Coordinator from 2009 to 2021. Throughout her career, Hayley worked 65-80 hour weeks, balancing her behind-the-scenes work with her own acting ambitions.
As an actor, Hayley is perhaps best known for her role as Sage on Fox/Marvel's The Gifted. She also had the unique opportunity to play Young Janet / The Wasp in both Ant-Man and Ant-Man and The Wasp, making her one of the few actors to bridge Marvel TV and film with different characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Hayley's other notable roles include guest-starring as the wife of Lauren Ridloff in NBC's New Amsterdam, as well as co-starring with Robert Redford and Nick Nolte in A Walk in the Woods, directed by Ken Kwapis.
After completing her work on a television series in 2021, Hayley embarked on a new career journey, dedicating her time to working and volunteering for non-profit organizations.
