Helga Line, a ravishing redhead with a slender and elegant physique, was born Helga Lina Stern on July 14th, 1931, in the vibrant city of Berlin, Germany. Her early career was marked by her impressive skills as a dancer and acrobat, performing in circus shows in Portugal. She also ventured into the world of modeling, showcasing her captivating presence.
As her career progressed, Helga began to make a name for herself in the film industry, taking on acting roles in the early 1940s. Her talent and versatility soon led her to relocate to Madrid, Spain in 1960, where she quickly established herself as a prominent and prolific actress in a wide range of genres, including horror, spy films, thrillers, and Westerns.
One of her most iconic roles was that of the alluring spy Natasha in the Gothic horror masterpiece Horror Express (1972),which showcased her undeniable charm and sophistication. Her other notable performances include a mesmerizing sea siren in The Loreley's Grasp (1973),a seductive and menacing vampire countess in The Vampires' Night Orgy (1972),and the enigmatic and seductive leader of a Satanic cult in Black Candles (1982).
Helga had the pleasure of sharing the screen with the legendary Spanish horror icon Paul Naschy in two of his most popular films: Horror Rises from the Tomb (1973) and The Mummy's Revenge (1975). Her impressive range and talent also shone through in her roles in Pedro Almodovar's critically acclaimed films Labyrinth of Passion (1982) and Law of Desire (1987).
