Holly Adams has been an integral part of the entertainment industry for nearly three decades, with her professional journey commencing at the tender age of thirteen. Initially, she pursued a career as a ballerina, leading a nomadic lifestyle that took her from San Francisco to Milwaukee and eventually, the vibrant city of New York, where she danced her way across the globe.
Her first foray into acting was as the lead in the short film Betaville, which garnered her a devoted cult following and subsequently led to roles in nearly twenty other underground films within the New York film scene. In 1994, Holly took on a triple threat role by writing, directing, and starring in the film Nymphomania, which caught the attention of the British Film Institute and was subsequently included in their History of the Avant-Garde series video, The Cinema of Transgression.
Now, Holly resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she has leveraged the region's attractive film tax incentives to produce a diverse range of short films. These projects include Hot Dog, Here Boy, Plots, Leather Kittens Gone Bad, An Unlikely Hero, The Gift, The Man-App, Shadows of Waste, and a music video for an upcoming pop star based out of Los Angeles.
In addition to her work in short films, Holly has also written, directed, and produced a feature script for the romantic comedy The Man-App, which revolves around the concept of having "the man of your dreams at the touch of a button." This script is currently available upon request. Holly is also actively working on a dark drama feature script titled No Place.
