Person Biography:
Hope Lange was a talented actress, born in Redding Ridge, Connecticut, in the 1960s. She began performing on stage at the age of nine and went on to study drama and dance under Martha Graham. Lange worked in stock companies and on television, dancing on Jackie Gleason shows, before landing her first film role in Bus Stop (1956). She was nominated for an Academy Award for her performance in Peyton Place (1957) and won two Emmy Awards for her work on the television show The Ghost & Mrs. Muir (1968).
