Horacio Garcia-Rojas, a Mexican actor with Huasteco ancestry, hails from the quaint town of Cerro Azul, nestled in the mountainous region of the state of Veracruz. His early life was marked by a deep connection to his cultural heritage, which would later influence his pursuit of a career in the performing arts.
After completing his primary education, Horacio went on to earn a postgraduate degree in acting from CasAzul artes escenicas ARGOS, a prestigious institution renowned for its rigorous training programs. In addition to his degree in acting, he also received a Master's degree in the art of movement from the esteemed Diplomado Teatro del Cuerpo, DTdc, further solidifying his technical expertise.
Throughout his career, Horacio has been a vocal advocate for representation and the transformation of negative narratives in the arts. He is deeply committed to promoting inclusivity and providing opportunities for people of color (POC) to break into the industry. By doing so, he aims to challenge the status quo and create a more diverse and equitable landscape in the arts.
