Hugh was born in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, and after serving a commendable six years in the British Military, he embarked on a new career path as a VIP Driver and Security Adviser for a diverse clientele worldwide. This marked the beginning of his transition into the world of entertainment, where he leveraged his skills in stunt driving to secure work in Hollywood. Concurrently, he devoted himself to studying the art of Stage Combat, Swordplay, and Fight Choreography, laying the groundwork for his future endeavors.
As Hugh's acting and stunt abilities continued to evolve, he landed a starring role in the critically acclaimed short film "System" in 2002. He balanced his dual passions for acting and writing by crafting screenplays while simultaneously honing his craft through training with esteemed coaches, including Patsy Rodenburg from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London and Larry Moss in Los Angeles.
In January 2008, Hugh made his mark on the theatrical scene by producing and starring as "Ralph" in a successful six-week production of "Frozen" in Los Angeles. This notable achievement was followed by the establishment of Catwink Productions in 2009, a company dedicated to creating projects that promote animal welfare and education.
Hugh's unwavering commitment to animal rights has led him to support various organizations, including The Performing Animal Welfare Society, PETA, Animal Defenders International, and Greenpeace.
In 2011, Hugh joined forces with Jens Pilegaard to co-found think 1 studios, an innovative company specializing in original scripts for future development, marking a new chapter in his illustrious career.
