Jack, a native of London, was born in 1985 and spent his formative years attending Westminster School and the Hall School, Hampstead, where his passion for acting began to flourish.
Following his academic pursuits, Jack enrolled at Oxford University, where he studied acting at the renowned London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). However, his studies were cut short when he was unexpectedly spotted and cast as Benvolio at the Globe Theatre.
This breakthrough role marked the beginning of a prolific career in theatre, with Jack taking part in numerous productions at the Globe, as well as at the Orange Tree, Richmond, and the Royal Court. It was during this period that he caught the attention of esteemed casting director Andy Pryor, who recognized Jack's talent and helped him transition into television.
Jack's television career began with a small but memorable role in the period drama 'Dancing on the Edge', followed by a recurring part as Freddie, the lovable but eccentric son of the house, in the popular series 'Blandings'. As his reputation grew, Jack went on to appear in notable shows such as 'Poirot' and the remake of 'Poldark', solidifying his status as a respected and versatile television actor.
