Jacob Hair's life story began with a dramatic and unexpected twist, as he arrived in Milford, Delaware, a direct result of his parents being forced to abandon their home in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, due to the devastating aftermath of the Three Mile Island nuclear accident.
Jacob's odyssey of self-exploration led him to become enthralled by the vast expanse of storytelling, a realm where the frontiers of imagination knew no bounds. Initially, his artistic inclinations were kindled by an intense passion for comic book art, which he devoured with unrelenting fervor. This fascination only intensified as he delved deeper into the realm of fantasy illustration, his creative spark fueled by the uncharted territories of the unknown. Meanwhile, the haunting atmosphere of the classic horror film "Night of the Living Dead" left an indelible imprint on his psyche, its chilling imagery and themes forever seared into his consciousness. Jacob embarked on a profoundly transformative journey, departing from the comfort of his alma mater, the illustrious Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD),nestled in the enchanting city of Savannah, Georgia, where he had meticulously refined his skills in Sequential Art, and subsequently, he made the bold and courageous decision to sever his ties with the familiar and relocate to the pulsating city of Los Angeles in the year 2001, thereby marking the inaugural step of his illustrious career as a professional artist, a trajectory that would ultimately lead him to achieve unparalleled success and recognition in his field.
