Jacqueline Lord's journey in the entertainment industry began at the tender age of 19 when she was discovered by modeling scouts who encouraged her to pursue a career with the prestigious IMG agency in New York. Initially, she had planned to explore her passion for music in college, but instead, she spent the next five years shooting advertising campaigns for prominent brands such as Crest, AT&T, Royal Caribbean, and Priori Skincare.
Simultaneously, she nurtured her acting career, landing roles in films like Steven Seagal's cult favorite Mercenary for Justice (2006) and television shows like Hawaii Five-0 (2010),Two and a Half Men (2003),and Franklin & Bash (2011). Jacqueline's dedication to her craft was evident, as she continued to write music and release her first EP in 2006.
Her musical breakthrough came in 2008 when she wrote the hit single "Broken" for the soundtrack of the film Stiletto (2008),in which she also made a cameo appearance. Jacqueline's appearance in the music video for OceanLab's track "Lonely Girl" further solidified her connection to the dance music scene.
As she continued to refine her artistic voice, Jacqueline achieved widespread recognition with the release of her debut dance single, "Killer." The track reached an impressive #3 on the MW Commercial Pop Chart's Top 30, surpassing notable artists such as Cher and Tyler Cruz, and #5 on the MW Upfront Club Chart Top 100, becoming the highest new entry, beating out Annie Lennox and Katy Perry.
The track was expertly remixed and brought to the dance floor by top UK duo Soulshaker, who have worked with chart-topping artists such as Lindsay Lohan, Paul Harris, and Crystal Waters.
Currently, Jacqueline is working on a dance EP, scheduled to debut early 2013, which promises to solidify her position as a rising star in the dance music scene.
