Person Biography:
Mr. Perry has had a remarkable career spanning over 25 years as an actor, with an impressive resume that includes feature films, television shows, and theatre productions.
Two years ago, he decided to take on a new challenge by developing his own feature film project, "Alice In The Land of Milk & Honey", which he wrote, directed, and worked on with film producer Pliny Porter. The project went through several drafts before it was deemed ready for production.
Mr. Perry has also written television pilots and reality shows, which were presented to major studios. In addition, he competed for the coveted role of shadowing director with award-winning director and executive producer Kevin Hooks of ABC's City of Angels, N.Y.P.D, FOX's Prison Break and 911.
Early in his career, Mr. Perry decided to further his education by attending The City University of New York, where he studied film and screenwriting. He also took a part-time job at a New York subsidiary of Kodak and Fiji film, selling 35mm film to movie studios and top directors and producers. It was during this time that he met Producer and Director Paris Barclay and persuaded him to let him represent his production company, Black & White Television.
Mr. Perry later graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree and went on to star in and co-produce a thesis film entitled "Familiar Differences", which won all three Diamond Awards for Directing, Acting, and Best Short Film in his senior year. He then headed to Los Angeles to study directing at the American Film Institute.
Throughout his career, Mr. Perry has appeared in several notable films, including "The Message", "Warriors", "Jacob's Ladder", and "BAD", starring opposite Michael Jackson and Wesley Snipes. He has also studied method acting with Lee Strasberg at the Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute and HB Studios in New York.
In addition to his acting career, Mr. Perry was placed in a recurring role on New York Undercover, working with Fox Television and Dick Wolf, while also pursuing other guest appearances on network television.
