Jale Arikan's journey began in Istanbul, where she took her first breath. At the tender age of six, she bid farewell to her childhood home and embarked on a new adventure with her parents to Berlin, a city that would become her new stomping ground. As she grew older, Jale's passion for the performing arts only intensified, leading her to enroll in a prestigious Drama school in Berlin under the guidance of the esteemed Hanny Herter.
Before she could even call herself an adult, Jale landed her first professional gig as a TV announcer for the renowned German national channel, ARD, at the ripe age of 17. This early taste of success only fueled her ambition, and she soon found herself making the bold decision to relocate to the bustling metropolis of New York in 1996. It was here that she began to hone her craft, taking on numerous roles in both TV and feature films.
As the years went by, Jale's talents took her to the sun-kissed city of Los Angeles, where she resided and worked from 1997 to 2003. However, her love for her European roots soon drew her back to Berlin, where she has been based since 2004. Jale's career has been a veritable rollercoaster of exciting projects, with credits including TV series such as "Samson and Delilah", "Kedi", "Veda", "Her Sevda Bir Veda", "Kiraz Mevsimi", and "Eve Dönüs", as well as short films like "Sessiz Kiz", "Bosa Giden Her Sey", and "Nebile Hanim'in Solucan Deligi".
Her impressive filmography also boasts long feature films such as "Vatan Yolu/Die Heimreise", "Avci", "Your Name Is Justine", "Zenne", "Zerre", "Tas", and "Kacis". Most recently, Jale has taken on the role of Ceyhan, a dance teacher, in the popular internet series "Çi", bringing her unique blend of talent and charisma to the small screen once again.
