Jan Krawitz is a celebrated documentary filmmaker with an illustrious 35-year career marked by the creation of an extensive collection of independent films that have garnered widespread recognition and acclaim. Krawitz's most recent documentary, Perfect Strangers, embarks on an extraordinary four-year journey, delving into the captivating story of a woman as she navigates an unpredictable and often tumultuous path, as she makes the life-altering decision to give away one of her kidneys.
