Person Biography:
Jana Lee Hamblin is a Portland native with an extensive career in the entertainment industry. She has appeared alongside notable actors such as Dwayne Johnson, Russell Brand, Elijah Wood, Melanie Lynskey, and Ariana Debose in various films and television shows.
Jana's recent work includes the Lifetime movie "My Teacher My Obsession," FX's "Znation," and the IFC series "Portlandia," where she was a recurring cast member. She has also worked on the CW's "Jane The Virgin" and has completed films such as "I Don't Feel At Home In This World Anymore" and "Seaside."
Her television credits include NBC's "Grimm," "A Walk in My Shoes," and "Extraordinary Measures," where she worked alongside Harrison Ford and Brendan Fraser. She has also appeared on TNT's "Leverage," four seasons of "The West Wing," "E.R.," "Family Law," and "Lincoln Heights."
Jana has had the opportunity to work with renowned actors and directors, including Martin Sheen, George Clooney, Allison Janney, Richard Schiff, John Spencer, and Harvey Keitel. She has also collaborated with local directors and producers in Portland.
In addition to her film and television work, Jana is a talented stage actress. She has appeared in productions such as "Trevor" and "Reborning," and has even directed her own projects.
Jana is also the owner and founder of Act Now Studio in Portland, where she coaches and mentors actors. She has been teaching at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in LA and continues to privately coach actors.
