Jane Jensen embarked on a multifaceted artistic journey, commencing with theatre and commercial work during her high school years. At the tender age of sixteen, she joined the pioneering new wave rock band Exquisite Fashion, marking the beginning of her musical endeavors.
Pursuing a creative Bachelor of Arts degree in music, theater, and audio arts from Columbia College in Chicago, Jane honed her skills and developed a deep understanding of her craft. During this period, she recorded music for various independent record labels across the United States, United Kingdom, and Germany, solidifying her reputation as a talented musician.
As her career flourished, Jane expanded her horizons by appearing as a lead or supporting actress in independent films. This experience laid the foundation for her transition to the world of dance, where she joined the esteemed Isadora Duncan Dance Group at the American Academy of Art in Tribeca, New York.
One of Jane's most notable roles was that of Juliet in the cult classic Tromeo & Juliet, a Troma B-movie masterpiece. This iconic performance catapulted her to greater recognition, and she soon released an electronic rock CD titled "Comic Book Whore" with Flip Records.
The re-release of her music by Interscope Records enabled Jane to tour extensively across the United States and Australia, courtesy of Mushroom Records. Today, she continues to release music on her own label, experimenting with various mediums, including video, photography, poetry, and performance.
Jane's acting career has been equally impressive, with notable appearances in the short-lived but ambitious Big Apple television series and the long-running Law & Order SVU in 2011, where she played the role of Suzette in episode 19, "Bombshell". Throughout her career, Jane has worked tirelessly in film, theatre, and television, both as an actor and as a musician, licensing her music to film, TV, soundtracks, and products.
