On a sweltering summer day, July 23rd, 1952, a talented musician was brought into this world, setting the stage for a lifelong passion for creating and performing music. After the Young Generation's demise, Siegel would go on to join the folk trio The Loved Ones, which would later undergo a name change to Laurel Canyon. Tim Hauser, the founder of the original Manhattan Transfer, reunited with Cheryl Bentyne Siegel at a social gathering in 1972, persuading her to rejoin the group on October 1st of that year. This reformed iteration of the Manhattan Transfer has gone on to achieve unparalleled international success, showcasing their impressive vocal range by covering a vast array of songs from the 1930s to the 1980s across various genres such as jazz fusion, R&B, pop, and doo wop.
