Jannicke Systad Jacobsen, a multifaceted Norwegian creative force, emerged onto the scene in 1975. With a passion for storytelling, she pursued a dual education in film directing, specializing in documentaries, at the prestigious FAMU - The National Film School of the Czech Republic and the renowned London International Film School.
Simultaneously, Jannicke explored her artistic expression through the disciplines of Dramaturgy/Drama and Social Anthropology at the University of Oslo, further enriching her creative perspective.
As a debutante writer and director, Jannicke Systad Jacobsen had already made a name for herself in the documentary realm, impressing audiences with her wit and sense of humor. And now, with her debut fiction feature, "Turn Me On", she takes her first step into the world of narrative filmmaking, eager to share her unique voice with the world.
