Jason Botsford, also known as Bots, was born in Oberlin, Ohio, and spent his childhood in the small town of Wellington, Ohio. He is an only child, the son of Winona Botsford and William Botsford Jr.
Tragedy struck Jason's life when his father, William Botsford Jr., passed away on August 4th, 2003, after a long battle with cancer. Jason's mother, Winona Botsford, unfortunately, also succumbed to cancer on September 18th, 2020.
Growing up, Jason had diverse interests, including cars, the supernatural, the outdoors, and acting. During his high school years, he was actively involved in various extracurricular activities, such as marching, concert, jazz, and pep band, where he played the trumpet. He was also a member of Boy Scouts, Student Council, and French Club.
After high school, Jason pursued higher education at the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio, where he studied Business Administration. Initially, he was involved in various sales positions, but eventually transitioned to become a Technical & Executive Recruiter.
In 2008, Jason decided to dedicate himself to his passion for acting. He enrolled in acting classes instructed by Robert Purcell, where he learned the fundamentals of acting and improvisation techniques. Since then, he has attended numerous seminars and workshops, including acting classes taught by his friend Shawn Michelle, who has collaborated with him on several projects.
Jason has been extremely busy in the acting industry, appearing in several major motion pictures, independent films, commercials, industrial training videos, promotional events, and web-based comedy films.
His ultimate goal is to become a successful actor, as acting is his true passion and dream.
