Jean-Michel Le Gal is a multifaceted, multilingual actor with a strong foundation in classical theatre and screen acting. His impressive educational background includes graduating from the esteemed Birmingham Conservatory for Classical Theatre Training at Stratford, Studio 58 in Vancouver, and the Canadian Film Centre's Actors Conservatory.
During his time at Stratford, Le Gal received widespread critical acclaim for his performances in various productions, including The Tempest, As You Like It, The Merchant of Venice, and Noises Off. His outstanding portrayal of Garry in Noises Off earned him the prestigious John Hirsch Award, a testament to his exceptional talent.
As a classically trained French actor, Le Gal has had the opportunity to perform across Canada and at renowned theatres such as the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde and Théâtre Français de Toronto. He was also instrumental in co-founding the drama school at Théâtre Français de Toronto.
