Jeff Thomas Riberdy II was born in Weisbaden, Germany, to a family with a strong military background. His father, also named Jeff, served 24 years in the Army, piloting Black Hawk helicopters, while his mother, Marcie, and brother, Ray Michael, were always there to support him. Growing up in Killeen, Fort Hood, Texas, Jeff developed a passion for sports and competition, which would stay with him throughout his life.
Baseball, in particular, became a huge part of Jeff's childhood, as he would spend hours watching the Texas Rangers play on TV, feeling an intense excitement and connection to the game. As he grew older, Jeff began to explore other interests, including acting, which would eventually become his true calling.
At the age of 19, Jeff made the bold decision to move to New York City, where he could pursue his dreams of becoming an actor. It was during this time that he discovered the importance of emotional expression and the power of bringing characters to life. To hone his craft, Jeff enrolled in the two-year conservatory program at William Esper Studios, where he was able to develop his skills and find his true passion.
Jeff's big break came when he landed a role in the play "Devil Boys From Beyond," which won the most outstanding play award at the 2009 Fringe Festival and was even nominated for a GLAAD Award. The play was later moved to off-Broadway at New York City's New World Stages, cementing Jeff's status as a rising star.
Since then, Jeff has accumulated a long list of film and theatre credits, including the short film "Awesome_FCK," which was accepted into the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival and the 2015 Provincetown Film Festival. He has also appeared in the short film "Consumed," in which he played the iconic character Aro from the "Twilight Saga." With his talent, dedication, and passion, Jeff Riberdy is proving himself to be a strong and versatile working actor.
