Jenny Lee Wright

Jenny's educational journey came to a close at the tender age of 16, when she decided to pursue her passion for dance by training with the esteemed Ballet Rambert. By the time she reached the age of 17, she had already begun touring the world with a French cabaret group, an experience that undoubtedly honed her skills and broadened her artistic horizons. Upon her return to Britain, she joined the ranks of Lionel Blair's distinguished group of dancers, laying the groundwork for a successful transition into the world of acting. Her early forays into the world of comedy saw her play the role of stooge to a host of renowned comedians, including the beloved duo Morecambe and Wise, as well as Jimmy Tarbuck, Benny Hill, Frankie Howerd, Mike and Bernie Winters, and Les Dawson. Concurrently, she made appearances on a variety of television programs, including the action-packed series The Protectors (1972),the detective drama Paul Temple (1969),the medical thriller General Hospital (1972),the sitcom Beryl's Lot (1973),and the crime drama Public Eye (1965). Additionally, she lent her charm and wit to various game shows, serving as a hostess on programs such as The Golden Shot (1967) and Masterspy (1977),in which she played the captivating Miss Moneypacker. Furthermore, she was a regular panelist on the popular talent show Search for a Star (2003),showcasing her versatility and range as a performer.
