A notable figure with a unique cultural heritage, being of Swiss-Hungarian descent. His formative years were spent in Switzerland, where he received a solid academic foundation. In addition to his academic pursuits, he also received music lessons at the Conservatorium in Lucerne, Switzerland.
As he entered adulthood, he ventured to Italy in 1979, where he studied at the Istituto per l'arte e il restauro Palazzo Spinelli in Florence. This institution specialized in the restoration of painting on canvas and wood, and he honed his skills as a restorer.
Returning to Switzerland, he continued his artistic education, delving into the world of modern art, specifically painting and sculpture, at the university of art and design in Lucerne and Basel.
Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, he showcased his talents through various group and solo exhibitions, including "ART 88 Basel", Kunsthaus Luzern", "Kunsthaus Aarau", and "Kunsthaus Basel".
In 1994, he transitioned into the world of film and television, taking on roles as writer, director, and producer for promotional and music videos for MTV and VIVA. He also created art and culture documentaries for ARTE G.E.I.E., a German-French cultural channel.
His repertoire expanded to include entertainment, feature, and biopics for the German television networks ARD and ZDF. Since 2012, he has been involved in the development, design, and implementation of various series for ARTE DÉCOUVERTE, ARTE ART & CULTURE, and ARTE DOCUMANIA.
Throughout his career, he has received numerous nominations and awards from international film and television festivals, dating back to 2006.
Notably, he has been a Grand Jury Member of the prestigious "NEW YORK FESTIVALS TELEVISION AND FILM AWARDS" since 2015.
