Jeremy King is a multifaceted American artist, excelling in various fields as an actor, comedian, producer, and writer. He began his acting career in the conventional manner, performing in school productions and community theatre, where he first caught the acting bug in a 4th-grade production of Hernando Desoto.
In addition to his passion for acting, King was an avid football player, participating in the sport for 12 years until his sophomore year of college. He played various positions on offense, but his true passion lay in playing defense, earning him the nickname "King of Pain" and numerous awards and honors.
Born just outside of Chicago, Illinois, to Donald and Marcy King, Jeremy has two older brothers and a younger sister. His ancestry is a blend of Irish, English, Polish, and Italian. When he was 10, his family relocated to Palm Harbor, Florida.
During his time at the University of South Florida, King pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in psychology, while also performing in the theatre. After achieving success in Stand-Up Comedy and a brief stint as a radio D.J., King realized his true passion lay in acting for film and television.
To hone his craft, King spent several years working on independent films, studying Meisner technique at Art's Sake Studio under Yvonne Suhor, and Improv Comedy at the renowned S.A.K. University. He also diversified his experience by studying martial arts (Karate/Kung-Fu),Stage combat, Weapons Training, and Stunt Driving, skills showcased in several of his films.
Throughout his career, King has appeared in over 40 films, portraying a wide range of characters in various genres, including action, drama, western, horror, and comedy. Notable films include Pirates of the Caribbean III: On Stranger Tides, The Pale Door, Sinister Seduction, and Camera Obscura.
King has recently gained a cult following for his role as "Rad Chad Buckley" in the comedy-horror film Scare Package. In Scare Package, Chad Buckley is a lonely horror aficionado who runs a struggling video store and argues with his only customer, Sam. When an unsuspecting job applicant arrives, Chad sets out to teach him the rules of horror, weaving in and out of hilarious segments geared toward the tropes of terror.
Jeremy's latest projects include teaming up with Paperstreet Pictures for a sequel to Scare Package, Scare Package 2: Rad Chad's Revenge, and appearing alongside Vince Vaughn, Natalie Martinez, and Michelle Monaghan in the new Apple TV Series Bad Monkey.
