John's professional journey began in the Oil Industry, where he held the esteemed position of surveyor, prior to venturing into the world of acting.
It was during the early 1970s that John's career path took a significant turn, as he found himself based in South East Asia, where he played a pivotal role in presenting an independent documentary that shed light on the far-reaching consequences of the oil industry on a third-world nation.
John embarked on a journey to the United Kingdom, specifically England, where he secured a relatively minor yet significant role in the 1975 cinematic production "Sherlock Holmes Smarter Brother", a film masterfully directed by the renowned Gene Wilder. This modest yet pivotal part, filmed at the esteemed Shepperton Studios located in the heart of London, served as a catalyst, paving the way for John to establish a career as a professional actor.
