John D. Hickman embarked on his acting journey with a serendipitous opportunity, courtesy of a donated Walk-On Role at a charity auction in support of LA Children's hospital, dating back to 2011. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of his foray into the world of acting.
In 2014, John's career received a significant boost when he landed a role in the Michael W. Gordon film, BlackWater Wilderness. He portrayed a former military private contractor who, having succumbed to the devastating effects of PTSD, spirals into madness and unleashes a reign of terror.
