John Francis Daley embarked on his acting journey by participating in the national and international tour of The Who's Tommy, taking on the role of young Tommy, and subsequently gaining widespread recognition for his portrayal in the critically acclaimed and cult classic television series, Freaks and Geeks, which premiered in 1999.
Prior to his success in Freaks and Geeks, John was a regular cast member on the Fox hit television series, Bones, which aired from 2005. In addition to his work on Bones, John has appeared in the Lions Gate comedy film, Waiting, and is set to star in the upcoming 2013 comedy, Rapture-Palooza, alongside Anna Kendrick and Craig Robinson.
Beyond his work as an actor, John has also established himself as a successful screenwriter, collaborating with his writing partner, Jonathan Goldstein. The duo has sold several scripts in the past three years, including the summer hit, Horrible Bosses, which was released in 2011.
As if acting and screenwriting were not enough, John is also a talented musician, serving as the keyboardist and lead vocalist for his band, Dayplayer. The band is on the verge of releasing their debut CD, showcasing John's musical abilities beyond his work in front of the camera.
