As a National Park Ranger at the esteemed Mammoth Cave National Park, John discovered an unexpected passion for acting, a serendipitous encounter that ultimately led him to pursue a career in the performing arts. Prior to making the transition to a professional actor, John dedicated considerable time to honing his craft in regional theatre, where he refined his skills and prepared himself for the bright lights of the big stage. His dedication and perseverance eventually earned him an invitation to train in the classical theatre tradition at The Old Globe, a renowned institution in San Diego, where he immersed himself in the rich history and tradition of the art form.
