John Melendez, a multifaceted personality, spent an impressive 14 years as a member of The Howard Stern Radio Show, from 1998 to 2012. Prior to that, he dedicated 10 years to NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, serving as the show's nightly announcer, staff writer, and comedian.
Melendez's remarkable journey with Stern began as an intern in college, where his unique stuttering abilities quickly made him a standout. As "Stuttering John," he became renowned for his daring and irreverent interview style, conducting man-on-the-street interviews, sketch pieces, and field reporting for the show. Throughout his tenure, he was a regular writer for the Stern Show and gained national recognition.
The talented comedian's notable work extends beyond his time with Stern and Leno. He has appeared in several feature films, including Howard Stern's Private Parts, Dude, Where's My Car?, Meet Wally Sparks, Airheads, and Osmosis Jones.
