John Walsh, a native of Dalhousie, New Brunswick, born in 1949, embarked on his academic journey at Dalhousie High School, where his exceptional aptitude and dedication earned him a remarkable achievement - skipping a grade. He then proceeded to St. F. X. University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, where he further honed his intellectual prowess.
Prior to his foray into the film industry, John Walsh had a successful stint in the offshore oil industry. However, his passion for the cinematic arts soon drew him in, and he transitioned to a career in stunt work, specializing in stunt co-ordination. One of his most notable accomplishments was serving as the Stunt Co-ordinator for the critically acclaimed film, The Shipping News.
Today, John Walsh calls Montreal, Quebec his home, where he continues to make a name for himself in the film industry, leaving a lasting impact through his exceptional skills and expertise in the realm of stunts and stunt co-ordination.
