Josh Murray kicked off his national television debut in the TV movie "Killing Lincoln" as the infamous assassin Lewis Powell, an executive production of Ridley Scott and narrated by the renowned Tom Hanks, setting a record in viewership on the National Geographic Channel.
Since then, he has taken on leading roles in real-life spy dramas such as "Game of Pawns" on the Pentagon Channel, which garnered two regional Emmys and widespread media coverage globally, in addition to appearances in NBC's "Revolution" and "Taxi Brooklyn", and in the feature film adaptation of David Baldacci's bestselling novel "Wish You Well" alongside Mackenzie Foy, Ellen Burstyn, and Josh Lucas.
Josh has continued to expand his repertoire, starring opposite Mollee Gray and Kevin Sorbo in the action-packed "The Reliant" and in the Tribeca Official Selection "Inheritance" alongside Lily Collins and Simon Pegg.
Most recently, he starred in Lifetime's "Missing Twin" opposite Alaina Huffman and recurred on General Hospital as the charismatic Aussie mercenary Russel.
Josh's upcoming projects include starring in Fox's "Christmas at the Greenbrier" opposite Emmy-nominee Alicia Leigh Willis, and he is also set to lead produce and star in the feature-length thriller "Gym Rat", playing an ex-con fitness enthusiast with delusions of grandeur as the next Mr. Olympia.
Notably, Josh has worked as an actor for and/or with various branches of the military and law enforcement agencies, undergoing bootcamps for training in weapons and tactics.
In his leisure time, Josh enjoys engaging in outdoor activities such as sailing, scuba diving, horseback riding, and playing the piano.
