Josh Ockenden is a multifaceted British-Australian actor with a diverse upbringing, having spent his formative years in various locations around the world, including the Canary Islands, Malaysia, and Brisbane, Australia.
Following his high school education, Josh pursued his passion for theatre by training on the esteemed Y.A.S. program with the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA),one of Australia's premier drama schools. He later relocated to Los Angeles in 2010 to further hone his craft and expand his professional network.
Throughout his career, Josh has had the opportunity to work on a range of television projects, including the History Channel's documentary series "The Digger: A History," as well as feature films such as "Weaverfish" and "Through the Lens."
Currently based in the United Kingdom, Josh has also developed a strong background in stage combat, having qualified with the British Academy of Dramatic Combat (BADC) to an advanced level. He specializes in a variety of weapon systems, including the longsword, 18th century French small sword, and axe & shield.
