Here is the person biography:
JoshuaFredric Smith was born and raised on a 40-acre ranch in Northern California. Growing up, he had a unique childhood, with horses and cows as pets and chores such as feeding the animals every morning before school. When the rains came, Joshua, his father Guy, and his brother Robert would herd the animals to higher ground and mend fences. In his free time, Joshua would play in the town of Georgetown, an old western town created by his grandfather George Smith, a prop master for major Hollywood studios.
As a young boy, Joshua was exposed to the world of filmmaking through his grandfather's work on movies such as 'Gone With The Wind' and 'Pollyanna'. He even got to work on film shoots, acting as a stunt and body double and later landing his first on-camera speaking part in a film about the Barrow Gang. However, Joshua's interests shifted towards track and field and motocross riding, and he eventually became a Park Ranger in Sonoma County.
Despite his successes, Joshua couldn't shake off the feeling that he was meant to be an actor. He eventually listened to his grandfather's words and moved to Hollywood, where he worked hard to land his first acting job in a Volkswagen commercial. He then appeared in several independent films, TV shows, commercials, and music videos, including starring in the New Kids on the Block music video '2 in the Morning'.
Joshua's most recent film credits include starring roles in 'Finding a Place' and 'The Road to Freedom', an epic war tale based on true-life events. Through his passion and determination, Joshua is fulfilling his destiny and his grandfather's dream of becoming a professional actor.
