Born to Hal and Joyce Marston in the picturesque Winter Park, Florida, Joy has two brothers and was raised in a loving family environment.
As a child, Joy was an accomplished figure skater, participating in competitive events, before transitioning to competitive cheerleading in her teenage years. Concurrently, she actively participated in her school's theatre program and thespian troupe, laying the groundwork for her future endeavors in the entertainment industry.
In her college years, Joy took a hiatus from acting, only to return to the stage for a production of Frank Capra's timeless classic "It's a Wonderful Life" at the esteemed Orlando Fringe Festival. It was during this experience that she met a friend who would later introduce her to the world of film acting, appearing alongside Michael Rooker and Bill Cobbs in the film This Man's Life. This transformative experience sparked a newfound passion within Joy, leading her to pursue a career in screen acting.
