Patricia, an acclaimed documentary director, has garnered international recognition for her films, which have been broadcast globally and have won numerous accolades. Notably, she received nominations for the prestigious Imagen and Platino Awards, and was previously a Fulbright scholar. Recently, she was selected for the NBC Universal Alternative Directors program.
Born and raised in Peru, Patricia began her career in Lima, working as a producer and assistant director for television magazine shows and TV commercials. She later relocated to Los Angeles, where she was chosen for the competitive DGA training program and progressed to become a 2nd AD on various TV shows, including Grey's Anatomy, CSI NY, Miss Match, and the feature film "The Lost Island" starring Andy Garcia, shot on location in the Dominican Republic.
Throughout her career, Patricia has worked on TV shows produced by prominent studios such as ABC, Disney, NBC, and Paramount. In 2010, she decided to pursue her passion for directing, focusing on telling stories from a Latina perspective. Combining her advertising background with her experience in episodic TV, she crafts compelling narratives with the highest cinematic standards.
Patricia's projects have been broadcast in over a dozen countries worldwide, airing on networks including National Geographic, Direct TV, iTunes, Amazon, and Netflix, among others.
