Julie Anne Peñaflorida San Jose, affectionately known to her devoted supporters as JAPS, embarked on her journey on May 17, 1994, in the bustling city of Novaliches, Quezon City, Philippines, to loving parents Marivic and Jonathan San Jose.
As a precocious three-year-old, Julie Anne made her television debut as a finalist in the popular Filipino variety show, Eat Bulaga's Little Miss Philippines. This early exposure to the spotlight laid the foundation for her future endeavors.
In 2005, Julie Anne participated in the singing competition, Popstar Kids, although she did not emerge as the winner, her talent and charisma still earned her a spot in Sugar Pop, the show's spin-off children's singing group. As a member of Sugar Pop, Julie Anne performed in the renowned Sunday variety show, SOP.
As the years progressed, Julie Anne was re-cast as a solo artist in SOP's successor, Party Pilipinas, where she shared the stage with notable performers, including Elmo Magalona and Frencheska Farr.
Currently, in 2014, Julie Anne is pursuing her academic aspirations, enrolled in the Bachelor of Communication Arts program at Angelicum College in Quezon City, Philippines.
