Kadèr Gürbüz is a talented Belgian actress born in 1969, boasting Turkish roots. She earned her degree in 1993 from the Ghent Conservatory, specializing in drama.
Kadèr's professional journey began with performances in theatre for youth and at the Flanders Royal Ballet, where she portrayed Anne Frank in the play Je Anne by Frank Van Laecke. Over the years, she has worked with numerous theatre companies in Belgium, and in 2005, she founded her own company, Het Ongerijmde. This group is known for its innovative, contemporary adaptations of classical plays, such as Le Médecin malgré by Molière.
In addition to her theatre work, Kadèr is a well-known television actress. She starred as Birgit in all five seasons of the teen comedy-drama W817 and was a main cast member in the drama series Jes by Nathalie Basteyns and Kaat Beels. She has also appeared in prominent roles in the police series Flikken, the popular soap Familie, the mini-series De Vijfhoek, and numerous other Belgian television series, including Witse, Aspe, FC De Kampioenen, Spoed, Gilliams & de Bie, Zone Stad, Mega Mindy, Thuis, Code 37, Binnenstebuiten, Vermist, and many more.
In 2014, Kadèr played a supporting role in the European series The Team, starring Lars Mikkelsen and Veerle Baetens.
Apart from her on-screen work, Kadèr has also hosted various shows on regional and national television.
Off-screen, Kadèr is a skilled voice actor, having dubbed numerous animation series and movies. Some of her notable voice acting credits include Charlotte in Charlotte's Web and the Viper in Kung Fu Panda.
