Kam's academic journey began at Concordia College in Minnesota, where she successfully completed her undergraduate studies in Communications and Political Science, earning a degree that would serve as a solid foundation for her future endeavors.
Following her graduation, Kam made a swift transition to the city of Chicago, where she embarked on a brief modeling career, honing her skills and gaining valuable experience in the industry.
As her modeling stint came to a close, Kam made the bold decision to relocate to New York, a move that would ultimately lead her to a breakthrough in her acting career.
It was in New York that Kam received her first major role, courtesy of renowned director John Woo, who handpicked her as the lead in his pilot project, "Blackjack".
Today, Kam calls Los Angeles home, residing in the vicinity of the prestigious University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA),a testament to her growth and success in the entertainment industry.
