Biography

Karina Ronquillo Junker, a renowned bilingual voice over artist, has made a significant impact in the Hispanic and U.S. markets due to her exceptional skill in speaking both English and Spanish without an accent. Born in Brownsville, Texas, but originally from Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico, Junker has had a remarkable career as a principal performer.

As a voice over artist, Karina has worked with numerous prominent brands, including Dupixent, IHG Hotels & Resorts, IHG One Rewards, Patrón Tequila, Star Wars Visions, National Cancer Institute, and the U.S. Department of Defense. She was previously the voice over announcer for Ford, Best Buy, Starbucks, Chrysler, Cricket Wireless, Hershey's, Cacique, UPS Latin America, and L'Oreal.

Karina has also ventured into the world of film and television, featuring in the Oscar-winning film Bombshell (2019) alongside Charlize Theron and Guest House (2020) starring Pauly Shore. Her other notable on-screen credits include Mercury Plains (2016) starring Scott Eastwood, Kingdom (2017),A Girl Named Jo (2018),and Sex Sent Me to the ER (2015).

Junker holds a graduate degree in clinical psychology from Columbia University and a master's degree in theater, voice, and acting from Michael Howard Studios in New York City. She also pursued undergraduate studies at Universidad Iberoamericana in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico.

Aside from her acting credits, Karina is a vocalist with ten singles in the Dance/Electronic music genre. Her most popular track "So He Finally Called?" (2012) has been played by world-renowned DJs in dance clubs and music festivals. She has collaborated with music producer Robotek Reagan and released "Some1:Like_U" on his independent record label Void Space Institute in 2022.

Karina's determination and resilience are a testament to her ability to overcome challenges. She attributes her strong work ethic to the automobile accident that left her mother, Leticia Junker, in a vegetative state for nearly a decade. Unfortunately, Leticia passed away in 2013, but Karina credits her mother's accident with shaping her into the person she is today.

In her free time, Karina enjoys running and has completed 18 marathons worldwide, earning medals from over thirty races, including the TCS New York City Marathon, Bank of America Chicago Marathon, Asics LA Marathon, Schneider Electric Paris Marathon, BMW Frankfurt Marathon, Rock 'n' Roll Seattle Marathon, and Chevron Houston Marathon, among many others.
