Karl dedicated a substantial portion of his professional journey to the meticulous development of his expertise in post-production, concurrently demonstrating exceptional proficiency in multiple capacities, including film and digital projectionist, as well as sound recordist, at the esteemed NT Audio in Santa Monica, a prolonged period of time that enabled him to hone his skills and attain a profound understanding of the multifaceted intricacies of the filmmaking process, thereby solidifying his position as a master of his craft.
Karl's professional trajectory during this specific period was marked by a collaborative effort with Matthew Porter, resulting in the co-authorship of a short film comedy titled "A Boy and his Sock". This creative endeavor garnered significant recognition, earning it a spot in the esteemed lineup of the Dam Short Film Festival, held annually in Boulder City, Nevada.
Karl's inaugural feature film production, "Cleaver's Destiny", was a deeply personal project that showcased his remarkable versatility as a writer, producer, director, co-editor, actor, and composer, effectively demonstrating his range and capabilities in the world of feature filmmaking.
