Kate, a talented and accomplished actress, trained at the renowned Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and has since honed her craft in theatre, television, and film. In addition to her impressive acting credits, Kate is also a skilled scriptwriter, having co-written scripts for theatre, the BBC, and Channel 4. With over 20 years of experience teaching Meisner technique, Kate currently instructs at the Actors Centre, Arts Ed's MA and BA courses, the National Opera Studio, and her own practice in the UK and internationally.
Kate has also made a name for herself as a solo performer, penning and starring in her critically acclaimed show "The Old House", which has been showcased at various prestigious festivals, including the RADA and Camden Fringe Festivals, Theatre 503, HighTide Aldeburgh, Assembly Roxy Edinburgh, and Brighton Fringe 2020. Her other notable theatre credits include "Future Bodies" with Unlimited Theatre and Rash Dash, "Opening Skinner's Box" with Improbable Theatre, "One Cold Dark Night" at The Bush, "Four Minutes Twelve Seconds" at Hampstead Theatre and Trafalgar Studios, and "Enduring Song" at Southwark Playhouse.
Kate's television credits are equally impressive, with roles in popular shows such as "Pan Tau", "Holby City", "Giri/Haji" (Netflix),"Safe" (Netflix),"Lewis", "Miranda", "The Politician's Husband", "Emmerdale", "Absolute Power", and "Broken News". Her film credits include "6Underground" (Netflix) and "Seven Lucky Gods", which earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the Milan Film Festival.
